About Us

We are a team consisting of professional women in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Our aim is to inspire students of all genders in any of these fields and help them gain confidence before starting their careers.

How we started

Currently, there is a large imbalance in the participation of women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), compared with the participation of men, in particular at the more advanced career levels. Although there have been many efforts to bring in more women in these fields it is noticed that many quit during and after university. Women are interested in joining STEM careers but they lack role models and support from their surroundings to remain in the field. Women have the competence for STEM jobs but gender stereotypes especially during university and in the working environment later push them to abandon the field and do other jobs because they don’t feel confident enough or because the tasks are not fulfilling.

Our Vision

Especially because such jobs are male dominant, men must be educated as well to recognize the skills of their women peers and give equal opportunities to them. Our goal is to provide equal knowledge to all genders and project women role models as much as possible. We are proof that women are equally capable in these fields. We want to support more females to pursue their career and eliminate gender inequalities in job environments.

What we offer

A wide range of online synchronous courses is provided by STEM BU. Every course consists of 13 online weekly synchronous sessions. The knowledge in these courses is complementary beyond university, built with professionalism, and updated with the latest trends in STEM fields.

A Blog with daily tips and strategies to succeed in an interview, for overcoming challenges in the workplace, and pursue a career promotion.

Job opportunities and seminars exclusively for women to help them find a job easier through our network and educate themselves through professional seminars around the world.
